Q: I forgot my password, how do I go about it?
A: Each registration requires a mandatory challenge question. This question will be triggered when the user clicks on the 'Forgot Password' button, which can be obtained at the logon screen. Supply the answer to the challenge question and enter your new password.

Q: I forgot my userid, how do I go about it?

Q: Is it possible for registered users to view all aircraft projects in your companies?
A: No. Users' views are limited to only their company's aircraft. Other customers' aircraft will in turn only be viewed by the respective customer or operator. It will not be possible for any registered user to view other customer's aircraft as each project is created for different company profile.

Q: How do I keep up-to-date with the aircraft progress from anywhere around the world?
A: Users can keep up-to-date with aircraft progress without having to be in our companies. Our website provides several features to accommodate customers' needs to stay updated. Two of the features available are:

Aircraft Graphical Schedule (AGS)

The AGS displays the aircraft schedule in a graphical manner similar to that of a Gantt chart. The Gantt chart tracks schedule, percentage of completion and extension of work tasks. The AGS is updated daily and customers can view the progress of the aircraft through the use of colored legends to identify work scheduled, completed or extended.

Aircraft Daily Summary (ADS)

This report summarizes the routine and non-routine card status by major zones, reports, Engineering Assistance Request Notes (E.A.R.N.) and Production Deviation Reports (PDR) status. Reports are automatically generated by the system and is updated as and when any changes are made to the cards i.e. location etc.

These features can be accessed through the Aircraft Progress screen simply by clicking on the respective hyperlink.

Q: I do not understand some of the abbreviations used in the report.
A:

Some of the more common abbreviations used in SASCO's online reports are as follows:

QC in/out

Location of the card. Reflects the number of cards currently in/out of Quality Control.

CS in/out

Location of the card. Reflects the number of cards currently with customers.

TR

Location of the card. Reflects the number of cards currently in Technical Records.

O/S

RTN

Non-RTN

Non routine cards(alternatively referred as NRC) are additional work cards for purpose of defect rectification outside the actual workscope

E.A.R.N.

Engineering Assistance Request Notes are supplementary job sheets raised in view of any discrepancy that are not covered in aircraft manual or approved data

PDR

Production Deviation Reports are supplementary job sheets raised for any digression in the current work that is not covered in aircraft manual or approved data

AIM

Aircraft Interior Maintenance is a trade related to the refurbishment or overhaul of the internal body of the aircraft

NDT

Q: Why use Request For Quote (RFQ) function?
A: An RFQ form is provided on the Internet for customers to submit their request for quotes on checks or work to be done on their aircraft. Customers could upload the summary workpack or other related files using the file attachment feature. This cuts down delivery time and review process of the work package. Thus, customers can expect to receive quotations in a shorter period of time than before.

Q: How is the RFQ feature different from e-mail?
A: Each time a registered user sends a file using our file attachment feature, an RFQ number is generated. The RFQ number generated will be displayed on screen and can subsequently be referred to when additional files need to be attached. The RFQ feature provides a more secured alternative as each RFQ number is linked to an individual user's profile.

Q: What does the flag at the Aircraft Status screen reflect?
A: The flag represents a milestone undertaken for the project. An empty box shows that the particular milestone has not been completed as yet. The date reflected in the Work In Progress box represents the date when work was commenced.

Q: Where can I view the minutes for meetings?
A: Minutes of meetings can be viewed at the Aircraft Status screen. Users can access the screen by selecting Aircraft Information Status and then clicking on the hyperlink minutes found in the Pre-dock Minutes box. Follow the on-screen instruction to download minutes.
